Theres some good stuff there, but they forget the thermals and barely give it a glance when thats one of the most important aspects.
The PS3 had as much silicon by area as the PS2 IIRC and yet the former has 4x the power consumption of the latter. This next generation won't be very easy to get performance without resorting back to console trickery and optimisation.
The current 40nm process at TSMC leaks like a screen door on a submarine and has poor thermals. Likely the next generation of GPUs will be smaller, a little faster and a lot hotter per area.
Tease.
