A. That game also had technical issues. This engine is designed a certain way, to make this square peg fit into a round hole requires the developer to re-work it. B. Those who have a hard time tend to already be in the Xbox 360/PC camp, like for example Valve. C. Exclusive to the lowest selling platform with the highest development costs, competing with some of the most expensive games in the generation/ever for attention. Does not make sense... Furthermore Dunia is actually an Ubisoft engine btw. The only developers who will use it are either insane or Sony 1st/2nd party. D. They will also have to rework the engine, and until they know what art assets they can use at what level of detail they will have to stall development. See also A. @CGI: If rumours of a Nvidia/Sony departure are correct then the PS4 will have a different architecture. The new architecture may not be as favourable to say deferred rendering. So with games taking 24 months to develop, we won't see more than one generation of games before the high end developers start their next generation efforts.

A. Is that UR Engine's fault? So how is that related to KZ engine being used for something other than shooter?
B. There are numerous other developers out there. It only makes it easier for the smaller development companies. Valve won't really matter too much because they're more inclined to use their own engine. Companies that have their own engine aren't likely to use KZ engine. Companies such as Kaos Studio who stopped development of Frontline Fuel of War due to problems developing for the PS3 will most likely be looking into using the KZ engine.
C. You just said the same thing I said mostly. KZ engine is going to lower development cost which is the purpose of making an engine in the first place. KZ engine is trying to get rid of what you have said...high development cost. PS3 might be the lowest selling platform but it does sell enough softwares for companies to actually think of using the KZ engine. Dunia engine part, mistake on my part. I was talking too much about CryEngine that CryTek just slipped out even though I knew it was Ubisoft.
D. Uhhhh...did you read what I wrote??
ok now i go back to scrimming....anyone want to play deathrun with me??....HOOOOOOOOOOOOO
