Fascinating responses.  Not quite what I expected.

  • Nintendo Wii Lots of exclusives, VC, and basically full BC with the GameCube.
  • Sony Playstation 3 80GB without PS2 BC HD Crossplats and PS3 exclusives, plus PS1 BC and Blu-Ray/DVD.
  • Microsoft XBox 360 Pro, with 60GB HDD HD Crossplats and 360 exclusives, plus some XBox BC and DVD.
  • Sony Playstation 2, slimline  Huge software library and near full PS1 BC, coupled with DVD.
  • Microsoft XBox  the 360 has some decent amount of BC with the original XBox, and many of the XBox's best titles were on the PS2 anyway.
  • Nintendo GameCube  The Wii has near 100% BC with the GC.  Disposable.
  • Sony Playstation Playstation 2 and 3 both have near 100% BC.  Safely disposable.
  • Nintendo 64 Many of its finest games are on the Wii now.
  • Sega Dreamcast a great console.  library too small though.

I made it "3" consoles, because, for me, the 4 that weren't obvious exclusions are pretty tough contenders.  I basically wanted to see which of those 4 consoles would get the boot the most.  If I had made the PS3 one of the PS2 BC models, the choices would have been too clear.
