Thats all nice, good and lovely. I have a fetish for A,B,C etc.

A. Why would a developer use an engine that excludes the biggest market for shooters?
B. Are there any developers whom you would actually care about available to use this engine?
C. Why would a developer looking for an engine look past UE3, Cry-engine, Source engine etc which are multi-platform to use this one?
D. Any new development starting now wouldn't be seen again until mid/late 2011 at earliest and the PS3s sales are slowing so its a big risk for any developer to make.

You should now this new is just to give ps3 owners some hope. The engine will be more efficient on the ps3 that all those you have mentioned, becuase none of those developers have spend more time on the ps3 than GG, but is very hard to believe that someone would invest in on ps3 exclusivity at this time, but like most  ps3 related new this one is to give hope more then to inform of something useful.

Yes, let them have their hope. Just think, if they continue to reuse this engine, the PS3 has a bright future of shiny shooters with no split screen/Coop features! Gives me hope too, because whatever uses this engine has no threat of dethroning the 360's top shooters...
