Usually when someone starts talking about they're actually just revealing they're a delusional fanboy.

If system sellers actually existed the Gamecube would have been on top last gen since it had some of the best games of last gen.

True, the rare game does exist that actually does something significant, but for the most part system sellers don't really exist and just a tool fanboys use for arguing what game is or is going to be the best.

So what do you say to the explosion of the DS after Nintendogs and Brain Training??

Also the GameCube didn't have system sellers - name a game that should have been a system seller on gamecube.

Resident Evil 4.

It sold what 1.5 million?, wasn't exclusive and came very late into the GameCube's life

So in short.. No

Lets see--

Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
SUper Mario Sunshine
Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
Mario Kart: Double Dash
The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker
Resident Evil 4
Eternal Darkness
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader
Pikmin
Pikmin 2

All of those are considered to be some of the best in their genre, beyond excellent games.  Ignore sells at the moment because the Gamecube just didn't have a huge install base.  If the term system seller were actually true, then at least one of those games should have pushed the Gamecube at least ahead of the XBox yet somehow it didn't.

And like I said, rare games like Nintendogs and Halo 3 exist and those could be considered the true system sellers, but those type of gems don't come around that often.  The way system seller gets thrown around now, any of those above games should be system sellers and we all know they aren't.
