Hah, Microsoft, who needs 'em?

A number of veterans from Ensemble Studios are picking up where they left off after being shut down when Halo Wars was completed. They formed a new studio called Robot Entertainment.

The name's just about as much as anyone knows about them right now though, but I'd wager they're working on new RTS games, which is their forte. Ensemble was mainly known for the popular Age of Empires RTS games, and of course
, Halo Wars.

Microsoft said that its move to shut down Ensemble Studios was "a fiscally-rooted decision that keeps [Microsoft Game Studios]on its growth path."

Interesting news... Age of Empires might be back!  or atleast its incarnant.... with a different name :)
