I'm so glad I live in New Orleans. We're in a bubble of sorts at the moment. The recession isn't really affecting us. I think it's because of continuing Katrina recovery, but Gnizmo (a fellow New Orleanian) says we've always been sort of recession-proof. I'm not sure why.
