If your friend like Flight Sim then he will absolutely hate this game. There is no "simulation" at all in this so call flight sim. I mean, really a missiles that on cool down timer, bomb that drop like you toss granade in Gear of Wars and the stupid Top Gun moment of hey let drop our speed till we stall then we will put the plane in after burner and just pitch up just like in the movie... so cool. (sarcasm btw).
I was hoping for open thearter warfare, where you pick and choose your squad and mission you want to take. A real dynamic battle field where you earn income to buy planes and finance your war (after all you are suppose to work for a corporation that fight war for 3rd world nation). I mean really we have open-world action game, open world RPG, open world race car game and open world FPS, is it too much of a strech for developer to make "open world" flight "sim" game on a console? It's not like it's a new concept, it's been done on PC for decade ...
