Because i believe the 360 is just starting to make profit least i think, and they need money to combat the rrod woes, so that should help
But your right, if microsoft wanted, they could lower price to that and really hurt ps3, but for now they just need to try to reduce the ammount of lose in the gaming division
Overall microsoft still made a huge ammount of money
