I don't know where you people shop....I got a brand new copy of FF7 for 15 bucks like a year ago...worth it, by the way, that game kicked ass. And the graphics have actually aged rather well, with the exception of everyone being modeled after Popeye. Also, voice acting would KILL FF7. I HATE voice acting, I would much rather read the dialogue than listen to some lame ass read it, and it takes less time. At least in Japan they understand the importance of good voice actors...I'd even settle for voice acting with subtitles, so long as they leave the original Japanese in place, because often it doesn't localize well even if the voice actor doesn't suck. For all I care, they could remake it with NO changes at all aside from graphical upgrades, maybe some new weapons and materia, and I would still pay 50 bucks or more for it.
P.S. if you want to dispute my point about the voice acting, try to imagine how Barrett would sound in that game if they gave him a voice actor. Also, I know he had one in FF AC, but I refuse to watch that movie in English after the first minute or so, so I don't know if he sucks as bad as the rest of the English voice actors in that movie.
