That would probably depend on what Live would still bring to the table.
If voice and stuff like that were eliminated from the basic internet connection, I would think that many people are still going to go for live, especially since they're used to it already, and they won't want to let go of their habits imho.
All in all, smart move from MS, but still can't fathom that people here tap Sony on the fingers, based on the article on the first page, while the link shows an entire different article, one which merely suggests that the author would take out the home articles and spend it on something else.
