The complete test series is at Toms Hardware, I extract data from the sum of all FPS benchmarks at 1900x1200

Ah.  Thanks for the link.   I like Tom's Hardware but this guide they publish every quarter isn't very exact.  The hardware used is not the same for every configuration.  Same with drivers.  The best way to compare is to try using hardware similar to what you plan to purchase - like the i7 920.
