EDIT: I just re-read: And I really don't know. I'm not claiming to have all the answers or to come up with some blanket statement about what is and isn't offensive/inappropriate/racist/etc. I'm just trying to point out why some people would be offended by RE5.
I don't think we should just ignore those viewpoints because maybe they're valid. I think people who are uncomfortable with RE5's imagery are justified in feeling that way.

Isn't there a difference between "ignoring" an argument and considering, then rejecting one? Most of the comments I've read in this thread that argue against the idea that RE5 is racist don't seem to be ignoring contrary viewpoints, but establishing disagreement.
