Thousands of people vote for movies, the number one movie has a 9.1 average from over 400.000 votes. On metacritic or gamerankings most scores are just averages from not even a hundred reviews. If games got scored/voted for the same way as movies on IMDB, so by thousands of people, most games would not score higer than a 9 too. On topic: An 8 is a good score, maybe you expect higher from a game like Resident Evil 5, but it's still solid. I'm still buying it :) |
