Wow. That really says it all, doesn't it?
Sad, but hardly unexpected. We all saw this coming a mile away, especially after the Stranglehold disaster last year. I feel bad for the employees who will be out of work. I don't feel bad seeing a company disappear that hadn't produced an innovative new idea in something like a decade.
PS Mortal Kombat was never very good in the first place. Its whole appeal was throwing lots of gore on the screen, and once everyone else started doing that too, there wasn't a whole lot Midway could do.
