One of Master Chief's first major missions involved him and a squad wiping out every single Covenant warrior on an entire planet. He's been in several hundred different missions, all of which were larger scale than anything that's happened in Metal Gear.

Hell, the first level of Halo 2 alone is more than anything that's ever happened in Metal Gear.

Someones enjoying Master Chief's company. The general consensus in this thread is that Snake would win, now, I'm not sure if that Master Chief fanboy helmet of yours is altering how you interpret that, but Snake would win. Anyday. Anytime. Anyplace. Xbox. 360. PS3. Wii. DS. PSP.

The first level of Halo 2? That was more like a bouncy castle fest.

Get over it. Seriously. You've argued with every Pro-Snake person in here, which is the vast majority, and quite frankly, you've failed.

 

How has he failed? He points out valid lore point which were dismissed as either 'fluff' or 'not apparent in gameplay', just because its not in the game doesn't invalid his argument, Halo has a very deep storyline that stretches games novels and comics, the majority of which is confirmed canon. The master chief can pop a kneecap at 120km, has bone density to survive g's that will squish Snake into paste, dexterity and speed so insane that he can move at a blur to the human eyes. He is an expert of every single type of martial art known to man and even without his armor can punch a hole through a regular human's chest.

He is a genetically modified super soldier with so much augmentation to his body that it is debatable if he is still human (meta-human).

It does not compute!!! Even if Snake somehow got close to the master chief, he CANNOT kill him in hand to hand, Snake even in his prime would not have the strength capable of snapping Master Chief's neck, and on top of that, the Chief's situational awareness is beyond human level, attempting to sneak up on him is a joke. Lets not even get started with range, the Master Chief's eyesight is sharper than a hawk and can spot a target before Snake could even see a spot in the horizon if he squints hard.

This is not a fair fight. It will never be unless Snake has had an equal amount of genetic and cybernetic augmentation and if you present a scenario like that then he is no longer Snake.
