Before I played Grid, I never realized how much fun racing sims are. I'm not really a car person (actually sorta the opposite) but I ended up buying it over MS:PR, and I still play it often. I played the demo so many times before I bought the full thing off my friend.

Now I'm thinking of getting Gran Turismo 5, but is it worth the money? The two things that really turn me off are the 6 tracks and lack of damage (though I heard an update is coming on the damage). But, it also has more cars than Grid. I also heard that Grid is abit of an arcade racer while GT5 is the real racing sim. I also reaaally like that it has split screen - I need more games with that.

For the people that've played both, what are some of the main differences? In GT5, does each track have different versions to choose from like in Grid? How's the customization? Like I said before I'm not a car person so this might sound stupid, but does GT5 have those open wheel/Forumla cars? I'm not really sure what they're called but they're fun as hell to drive in Grid.

I've never played a single GT game but I hear so much good about it, especially reaching worldwide fame. Does Prologue give you a good feel of what the past games were like?

So do you get your money's worth in terms of content, or is it something that appeals more to the hardcore fans? I'd probably just buy it now, but I'm currently trying to sell three of my games (R2, Fallout 3, and GTA4 for 360 which I don't have anymore) and I don't wanna have too many unused games on my hands. Now while I'm on the topic, quick question: does anyone know of a good place to sell games? I was thinking of trying Amazon. I'd rather not use Ebay - seems like a hassle.

Thanks for any help.
