As much as I'd like to state how dumb this sounds, I guess there are people out there who don't exercise often and are not very knowledgeable when it comes to warming up and stretching. I suppose with nearly 15m? copies floating around, there are bound to be a generous percentage of users who are new to exercise and are using this as a tool to get them in shape. I'm not sure if proper pre-workout stretching/warmup procedures are recommended in the manual/game or not, but I guess having them would be beneficial.

Honestly though, I'd think people could be smart enough to realize that Wii Fit should be a supplement to normal exercise instead of the end all fix to their physical well being. I find it hard to believe that I live in a generation that requires warning labels for such things.

Wii Fit recommends warming up first every time you start it up and access your profile. Plenty of exercises/games in the program are low-intensity and make for good warmup material.

Nintendo is the most health and safety anal video game company on the planet, which is why this guy looks like such a clueless attention whore. They've been sued plenty, and they know that a barrage of warning messages is the best defense against liability.
