Did a bit of research and this Asus looks like an extremely easy to use motherboard.

What makes it worth paying a premium over the lower priced X58s? Will it improve performance? Will any of the 'features' be useful to the end-user? The answer is no.

 

Ease of use matters greatly to me. I have never built a computer before. And I would probably want to help my brother build this and learn.

Um, it's a motherboard. Why would you even change the options on it unless you were overclocking? All motherboards should 'just work' and autodetect hardware.
