Brand new controller or a "safe" dualshock 4 for the PS4???

PS. buying seperate rechargable batteries is the dumbest idea ever. I've had my SixAxis for about 2 years and the joysticks are wearing out. I can't understand the concern about the built in batteries' lifespans, it's not like using rechargable batteries would allow you to use a controller forever.
