Brand new controller or a "safe" dualshock 4 for the PS4???

I have no problems with the DS3 apart from the R2/L2 buttons which could do with some improvments .

A two controller system would be sweet , I don't think it's the controller that is the issue but how games make use of the control schemes , i'm much more concerned about the actual gameplay.
