And I've used the same controllers with their own batteries all the time. It may not seem a big concern for some but it's an added expense to an already added expense filled industry, 360 is a joke on that. And one I don't want.

I have the added bonus that my recharge cable is long enough that I can just plug it in and continue playing.

I'm not going against what you're saying as having the PS3 controllers and being able to plug them in through USB is a great thing.

I'm just coming from the angle that for the accessories and such that do need AA batteries, I've found the rechargeable ones I've used to be quite the asset.


Oh, gotcha and yes they are. But in the case of DS4, having rechargeable pack in my view would be a step backwards. Just a longer battery life is fine.
