Gave this game the girlfriend test and she thought it looked way too scary and plastic, and couldn't stand it.
Definitely looking to be the best JRPG graphics this generation to me, but I'm not so sure about the comparisons with final fantasy xiii... perhaps some prefer mannequins?
There are definitely better combat screenshots around for those underwhelmed by the OP's shots. It looks pretty awesome. I actually really like the plastic look, because I can't remember seeing anything in a similar style at anywhere near this level of quality.
Also, the environments look amazing. They blow Infinite Undiscovery and Last Remnant out of the water, and I liked the graphics in Last Remnant.
