Where did this STD thing come from? What has he got, chlamydia? While the major stds and stis are bad, many can be gotten rid of by antibiotics.
But in no way or form does anything like that leave you with an excuse to beat up a woman. I hope he get's the living shit kicked out of him daily in prison.
