Sony - Terrorized by KZ2? - View Post

@Jaa--You expect Kill Zone 2 to re-invent the wheel entirely for First Person Shooters and act like since it hasn't added all these different features it is somehow a poor game.

(never said it was a poor game its just like every this else in the field, and if the raving boards of the internet are going to act like its the end all of ps3 games (or they will at least until the next big thing comes) then it better have something over then just a pretty new makeup job on to impress me)

Did Halo 1/ Halo 2/ Halo 3 drastically change the way shooters were done? Nope.

(nope I agree completely and say it all the time, the only thing that halo did was take all of the best part of PC shooter and package it up with a pretty bow for the Xbox and the 360—I call it the halo effect and all pc gamers agree with me on that)

Did Goldeneye 64 really change the way First Person Shooters were done? Nah.

(well yeah it did, it was the for father in terms of laying the ground work for how the field should be done on machines that did not have dell , or IBM, tag associated with them, in other words not a PC)

@CGI—even a blind man can tell you when something stinks and just b/c I haven’t played it wont change anything all that much---and every video shows the same thing I would get if I was the one holding the controller, or is there some magic 4d warp that makes it so it is vastly different when it you holding the control as to compared to watching the person hold the controller? I mean is there some special button combo that has yet to be shown that makes it more then just point at grunt as and shoot? You fighting a losing battle b/c as long as it uses dual analog it will share gamepaly quirks with every other shooter that uses sticks

No there isn’t….hmm well that would mean I am right then wouldn’t it?
