Why do they always use American voice actors?

Yeah but i mean.... when you have the choice between an American doing a really bad painful british accent... and a british guy just talking.

I mean, i go with the british voice actor every time.  It helps prevent laughably bad voiceacting.

 

That would be the case if it weren't got the fact that not every video game publisher has the cash Square-Enix has.

 

Why would it cost more to hire a British voice actor then an American one?
