Great you all pulled through for me! Ha.
Now I am a liberal as well but lately I have been rethinking some things. All of this spending is a bit scary, and it just leaves me with a dirty feeling about our country. I rarely borrow money from anyone (except my parents, love ya mom) because I hate the feeling of owing anyone anything.
Having our government owe so much money gives me the same feeling. I just don't have faith that the free market can readjust to accommodate the job market as it existed before. What reason, anytime soon, would the current employers have for hiring back those 3,000,000 people? Spending won't be the same on the consumer side for awhile or maybe ever so why would be be able to support the levels we could before?
And I guess the markets aren't directly tied to the economy, but they do seem to be a pretty good indicator to whats going on. Guns, ammo, water and food. Thats where I am seeing our country headed right now.
