Well yes. The EU always gets hosed.
Hell you think it's bad now you shoulda seen before Sony.
The reason Playstation is a huge brand name in Europe is because Nintendo never took them seriously...for whatever reason, third rate distributors and stuff with the NES and SNES, even Sega got good pentration on Nintendo there.
Heck even if like Tesco or something started a videogame system they'd probably favor the US just as much as Europe since you need multiple languages tranlated for the EU release anyway.
Then again even Europeon games seem to like to get people that "Sound American" to do the voices for some reason.
Even in games set in England and France....
