None of my reviews, editorials, or PR work has any poor grammar. I dont give a crap about my posts on these forums when it comes to grammar. Also wtf, fibber? are you 5? Last time I checked I do work with industry professionals that give me information on games etc. So what I post here are at minimum from a developer or analyst within a firm. Otherwise I use anecdotal evidence when I post some information on this site. |
Umm, don't you mean the articles don't "HAVE" any poor grammar? The only thing more pitiful than having an argument about grammar is losing it. As for Tom Chick, his point is true but still fairly meaningless. Nearly every shooter is generic. I've yet to see a shooter that could actually break the bounds of storytelling, atmosphere, or art style (and don't say Bioshock). I think most people who play shooters, and pretty much games in general, are interested in having fun. Call of Duty 5 was just one big cliche (hell, they stole all their ideas from real life!) but it didn't stop me from enjoying the game with my friends. Now that its quality is out of the question, it seems the only negative thing that can be said about Killzone 2 is that it's generic. We could have deduced this a while ago, and now that the issue is just coming about, it's fairly obvious what the true cause for it is.
