Well if they don't have anything in the works that's their choice. Of course I doubt there is much difficult for them to create a control scheme that works for the wii considering their owner, EA, has the Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 scheme in house that they could easily adapt to any game they need but that's fine.
They might be meaning something else but he does have a point at the lack of "super successful" shooters on the console. Although one could also argue, how many shooters have actually been released on the Wii to become successful.
