First off, obesity is the level at which a person's weight is translating into long term health problems ...
Now, what makes you think "Education" is the problem?
My generation (GenX) received far more comprehensive education in physical fitness and nutrition than my parents generation did, and the generation that followed me received an even better education in physical fitness and nutrition than I did, and yet my generation has a worse obesity problem than my parents generation did, and the generation that follows my generation has an even worse problem.
