This is an apples to oranges comparison. Those who have decried the sales of used games the most are either (a) big name developers or (b) big name developer houses.
They are not the programmers making a good living (and $63k is a good middle class living). These are persons and corporations making millions who are complaining.
And not all musicians make millions of dollars. Only those who complain about their songs being downloaded (i.e., Metalica).
