I think you should edit your original post with corrections and clarifications, jetrii. I'm reading it in between brewskis, and I find it fascinating. Not quite in line with my understanding of hardware rendering, but I think I understand how/why you perceive what's going on, and its an interesting viewpoint nonetheless.
