I'm surprised someone actually has an issue with the design of PSstore.
all you have to do is click on the button for whatever you want to download, decide whether you want to download it on the background or leave it on the screen and go to the XMB "download status" icon to check what percentage it is. Is it really all that bad?
As far as all the slowness is concerned... it must be location or timeframe issues because my downloads are pretty decent. it takes me 20-40 minutes to download gig+ demos.
