Read the full article in the above link. He had his power cut off and he froze to death. Heartless electrical company negligence contributed to a World War 2 veteran's death. It sickens me that younger generations disrespect elderly people who built this nation. The World War 2 veteran fought for our freedom.

I guess business does not care about anything except for making money at all costs.  Capitalist American society is appalling.

Cut it off during the warm weather but not the winter.

 

In england people have free electricity when it is cold out?  Damn i applaud your government.

 

 No, but the Government gives you money to help pay your bills. "Heating allowance" and the such. Mainly for pensioners, the unemployed and people on low incomes. Not enough, really.

 

There are plenty of programs that provicde that in US as well.  You just have to apply, just cause this guy did not know what he was doing doesn't mean we should bash america.
