That must be why I've never bothered playing an RE game and commented that for me the experience is aged. Funny that.
I understand it alright - using a forced mechanic to put you in jepordy. That mechanic is just not for me. I'm also not into the whole story/zombies thing either. Again, that's personal taste, I'm sure the many players enjoy the RE Universe, I'm just not one of them.
I do try the demos though, just to see if I could get into it. But everytime I get frustrated and don't even finish the demo due to controls.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
