No one is to "blame" but someone certainly is negligant. If the power company wasn't in some form negligant, then why have they taken action to make sure this didn't happen again? For a person to be reasonably negligant, something must happen that a reasonable person would have predicted. The burden of proof is much easier to meet when it comes to a commercial monopoly than it is when it comes to individual private rights. I think it's nice that you all are thinking for yourselves, but let's not take sides because we believe others shouldn't be any less screwed than ourselves. The system was to blame for this occourance. The power company created the system. They have changed the system since this occourance happened. WTF else is there to talk about? Is what I'm saying false? Did they not change the system because of this? Was the system perfect to begin with? If so, why did they change it? |
In order
1. The deceased.
2. Legality issues. To protect their asses. If it happens again theres a pattern. Everyone loves a scapegoat.
3. You can't predict "confused". trust me I work with them.
4. Thank You.
5. Sometimes shit happens. Theres no blame here man. At least in my eyes.
6. No but what is? (other than me)
