Very very impressed with the demo. It most definitely is a distillation of the genre in the same way civilisation revolution is. Which. is. a. great. thing (for a console rts).
Everything from the controls, to the squads, the fixed placement of buildings and the smaller total army size contribute to an RTS that is specifically designed for a console and it works perfectly. Not to mention the production quality is extremely high.
This game should be the first widely successful console rts.
