Have you played many FPS's. That is a serious question and not me being sarcastic or anything. I just wondered because after playing several it's the gameplay that lets it down. Yes the graphics are not what we were lead to believe they were, but the gameplay is my let down. It's not that different from the first game really, but it is better.

My demo review would give it 8 overall.

 

 

Dude, I am one of those people who played since Doom.... Old school fps gamer.. i just wanna say that i had no trouble aiming.. the third time i played it. Admittedly i had to get used to the controls.. but once they were there they felt really good. Only thing i found a bit weird is that you run pretty fast.. concidering how the rest of your movement is.

 

I can see where you are coming from, with the hit and response, but i on the other hand felt that there was a lot of reaction to every single shot. I also felt that while it was obvious that this game wont be a walk in the park.. it has a certain feel to it of ..awesome. The only thing that troubles me is how everyone is saying the story is a weak point, concidering i love cinematic games and a story told well..I especially find it weird concidering how expansive the backstory is if you read up on it on killzone.com. I was hoping that they had improved from killzone 1 since the story felt weak back then aswell (atleast until i read on killzone.com @_o huge story.

 

Also, i heard the build was from 2008.. but even if it wasn't .. It looks pretty awesome.. it looks like the trailers, looks like the gameplay videos i've seen.. so i'm not sure what you were expecting :P but it looks like what I was pretty much expecting. Maybe a few more enemys on screen, as you said yourself. But i'm sure they'll come.
