Selnor,
I see what you are saying, about things such as the huge epic battles in Halo 3 and others. There was so much going on and you felt like you were just a small part of a big war. In games like Halo 3 for instance though, the AI really suffered in doing so I think. At least imo the AI in that game really sucked. Exspecially ally AI, and most noticable when they are driving. Still, those epic battles were well worth it and there were times even in Halo when the AI showed some impressive activites such as the one you mentioned. I'm hoping that these huge battle sequences will also be in K2 but all I can do is wait and see like everyone else. But having seen part of the mech scene I think I can safely assume that it will have it's fair share of awesome, huge, epic fights. Also, if reviews are to be trusted it also has some hard, awesome boss fights in the game. I wasn't saying the AI was too hard though, I never claim to be an FPS master but I've beaten a fair share of shooters on the hardest difficulty including COD4, and the much harder COD:WAW on veteran (READ: The biggest gernade spamming game I've ever played). I just can see other people having problems with them. They react in so many different and realistic ways. It's shocking to me to see such smart AI on a normal difficulty setting. That being said I'm holding this up on quite the pedistal and it's yet to trully prove itself by me playing it. So honestly, when it comes out, I could hate it. OR, the opposite can happen, and it really can be one of the most epic and amazing shooters released. But I can't judge that from a demo. Only a few more weeks! :)
