It's real. It happens.

You get a screen telling you your 360 just bricked, and Microsoft ignores this?

Where are all those countless threads talking about Sony's arrogance? Where have all the comments about Sony's unfulfilled promises and other soap opera rants gone too? Is there really anything anybody can do or say to defend a company like Microsoft?

360 owner: I'm so happy, I got Gears 2 and just recently renewed my annual subscription to XLive Gold! Turns on the soon-be-brick....

E74 appears..of all the things you could hold your breath not to get, go figure.

360 owner: yikes! Let's call MS Costumer service.

MS Costumer service: For RROD press 1, for Scratched discs press 2, for disc tray related press 3, for overheating (not quite RROD) press 4, for unberable fan noise press 5, and now new to our service, for a special message from our directives please press 7 and then 4.

"We're sorry, although we were obviously aware of a (another) fatal malfunction present in the X360 we included that message screen whenever E74 occured so there wouldn't be any doubt it was the aforementioned problem thus saving us time and manual labor and more importantly, saving YOU the trouble of sending us that fried piece of junk. You see, we always think of YOU first, not like that other company that wants to charge you for things like Blu-ray and a system that could very likely be flawlessly functioning in 10 years...."

Well, they wouldn't say the last part, but the rest of it, I'm sure some of it must be an inside joke of some sort inside Microsoft's other divisions....
