When I was a kid, video game magazines cost $2.95 and such. Heck, Incite was great (told about Raiden in MGS2 over a year before MGS2 was released!), and it was .99 cents! I was paying anywhere from $5.99 to $10.00 for my gaming fix. Nostalgia and force of habit were the culprit. Now, I say good riddance. With the death of EGM, Wizard (the guide to comics) is the only reason I even go to the magazine section anymore.
Porn mags need to die too. I mean WTF?!? Who buys these things?
