The controls are great and easy!

Hold "A" to create a cricle and select the units in it. It is really simple.

There is kind of an "Autoaim" for the units so you are jumping easily from unit to unit. "LB" to select all units at once. Double click "A" on a unit all units of this kind are selected. If you want to jump to a place where the action is press "Left Stick" and you are spot on.

To jump straight to your base press "up" on the d-pad. So when you are in a battle and you want to produce reinforcements you press "up" on the d-pad, build your units, press the left stick and you are back at action. This takes like 2-3 seconds.

"X" to move / attack units. "Y" for a special attack that can be upgraded. Marines are throwing grenades as a special attack, with the first upgrade they get a rocket launcher for example. but you can't throw grenades all the time. There is a load time to throw the next one. A Warthog just rolls over the enemy as a special attack.

That are basically all controls. It is awesome.

The CGI-stuff is unbeatable. excellent.

Now ALL I am hoping for is that Ensembles will care for the balance of the game. But so far this game fucking rocks.

I will preorder it right now.

Don't forget the special powers (d-pad up if I remember well) that allows to contact orbital artillery from the cruiser "Spirit of Fire" or heal beam .... etc The screen switch with some sort of aiming hud and your hear the voice of an operator on the cruiser. Pretty cool

The convenant use special powers from their field heroes...

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
