My mom used to play Pac-Man for Atari. She then got addicted to Super Mario Brothers on NES. She still plays that game every other night. Her longest play session that I've witnessed was 8 hours. Then she got hooked on Wii bowling, she's really good at it. Now it's back to Super Mario Brothers.
She started gaming in her late 40's. About when I started moving out my old consoles from my room. They went to her room.
