MS continuing their partnership with ATI is interesting, given how intertwined MS, the X360 and DirectX are. This symbiotic relationship will probably become tighter down the road...

Doesn't that fit Sony's current approach of making things hard to code for?  I thought Kaz said that is their secret ingredient.

 

 

Indeed.

Such an approach worked well for them in the past (or rather it didn't harm them enough, I'm not sure which one is correct) however these days after the cell hardships they might have a different perspective on the issue. To be honest I'm just speculating on Sony execs fulfilling the pendulum swing which is something that might not necessarily happen.
