Final Fantasy 13 being developed with cross-platform engine

The first FF games on a new consoles always sells the most. FF7 and FFX is prove of that. When FF7 and FFX came out the ps1/ps2 did not have 100m+ sold consoles. I dont know how much but must have been around  20m.
