They are playing it safe by sticking with the old gameplay style, but I'm wondering if it is a bit dated because it really does feel that way. You can't even strafe around a corner to get a better shot, you have to un-aim, re-position and re-aim again. They really screwed the controls up, but you can get used to that (except for melee, I think I'll be forever pressing L2 + R2 by accident)
But overall playin this with my best bud over the headset is really what sells it for me. Hilariously fun and intense.
