Why does the RE5 demo feel like a last gen game?

There are lots of control setups available so people will eventually find one they like or at least one they don't dislike too much.

I hate to sound like a broken record since it has been mentioned before and in other places, but RE4:Wii's controls were amazing compared to RE5's controls.  Aiming in RE5 is a pain (needs to be faster), aiming in RE4:Wii was not.
