As in, they will send you a "coffin" with pre-paid return shipping to them to get it fixed.
That is, if you still have the receipt.
If you don't, once in a great while they will fix a firmware problem without one.
If none of the above works, and you bought your PS3 on a credit card, you can always consult with your credit card company to see if they have a warranty on items purchased on the credit card.
