Basically, they keep releasing DS games like the Imagine Series to oddly high sales and then use the money to makee Assassin's Creed, Prince of Persia, etc. I don't know if the games are shovelware, but that's how they are doing it. Pretty smart.

1. Make crap games, mostly for DS.
2. Use money to make good games like Assassins creed and POP
3. ??????????????????
4. Profit!!!

ugh...no one (and i mean NO ONE) makes and investment without expecting returns.  either the HD games make profits or future HD games don't get made.  it's that simple.

face it, ubisoft doesn't give a damn out you.  they only care about money and will only work on projects they think will make them money.

I know Ubisoft or any other company doesn't give a damn about us. Their DS games show that.  I know the HD games have returns, but they seem to be going against the grain economy wise and I think that is why.  Cheap DS games that sell very well, complemeted by HD games that sell well.  They have been lucky sales wise this gen.
